Our First Christmas

This was our son's first Christmas and our first as a family.
George is only 2 months old but he got a few cute things for christmas. I think his favorite gift is the musical dog his daddy got him. It teaches 
colors, parts & plays music. The puppy  says such things as " I love you" , " So Big " and " Your my best friend" , Georgie actually smiles when the puppy says " I love you "..Probably because he is so use to hearing it from Mommy & Daddy a dozen times a day,lol....

George is Getting So Big!!

George had his 2 month appointment yesterday. He is already up to 14 LBS 10 OZ and is 24 IN. long. My little sister's boy,Nathan, is 5 months and weighs 14 LBS 7 OZ!! Our Paediatrician said he was the size of a 6 month old and she wasn't kidding!

Our Little Man

I can't believe that my beautiful baby boy is already 6 and a half weeks old. He's growing so fast.We took him in to see his pediatrician for his well baby check on November 20th and he was already up to 23 inches and 11 lbs. His height was in the 97 % and his weight in the 90 %. On Monday ( Dec 1 ) we took him in to be weighed and make sure he is still properly gaining and he was up to 12 lbs 3 oz. He was 8 lbs 2 oz at birth but before we left the hospital when he was only a day old he had dropped down to 7 lbs 14 oz I believe it was.

Our Little Dragon

I woke up Saturday October 18, 2008 not feeling well. By 9 AM that morning the contractions started, they didn't seem to bad so I figured it would be another false alarm. They gradually got stronger but not closer together. Finally around 6 PM I phoned the Labor & Delivery telling them of the days progress ( or lack there off I thought ) and they told me to come in and be checked out, just to be on the safe side. At 6:17 PM I was admitted and told


" your having a baby"...

Overjoyed to Finally be in labor


Our doctor came in and broke my water at 7:32 pm and shortly after Dr.Brown was there preparing me for the epidural. Getting the epi didn't go as well as I had hoped since he had to start over when the catheter wouldn't go in the first spot. But the second time worked and I felt NOTHING. It worked better on my right side then my left however and my right leg was completely numb, seeing me try and move it was hilarious I must say!



At 1:19 AM Sunday October19,2008 by Epi was shut off and Doctor called in to deliver. WE were so thrilled to be minutes away from holding our son...So we thought!!


Well 2 hours later at 3:01 AM our Little Dragon, George Ellis made his debut. He weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and was 21 inches long.Finally after 2 years of hard times, miscarriages and bumpy roads we were blessed with our sweet little dragon.
